Mass of Christian Burial for Donald G. Lyon, age 57, will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord. Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Friday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville.

A Perry resident, Donald was born on September 7, 1957 in Euclid. He passed away on Feb. 21, 2015 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord.

Don served in the US Air Force as an Airplane Electrician. He was a member of St. Gabriel Church and enjoyed golfing, water skiing, and restoring his Corvette, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Lyon was a self-employed computer software developer.

Donald is survived by, Children, Angela Avalos, Andrew Lyon, Nick Lyon, and Christian Lyon; Six grandchildren; Father, Gilbert (Dolores) Lyon; Mother, Nancy (Hansen) Tidd; Siblings, Deborah (Timothy) Joyner, Scott (Laura) Lyon, Kathy (Hansel) Moore, and Jeffrey (Dee) Lyon. Aunt, Carol Hines

Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
