Private services for Donald L. Mayse age 82 were held at Riverside Cemetery Painesville

Donald was the son of Samuel and Maggie (Caudell) Mayse born on September 6, 1938 in Levi Kentucky. He passed away December 21, 2020 at his daughter's residence.

Don was employed for 20 years at the former Uniroyal Chemical as a lab technician.  For 31 years Don and his wife Glenda May operated concession stands at special events, festivals, and fairs around northeast Ohio. He belonged to VFW post 7754, owned and trained horses and was very active in little league with both his son and grandsons. Don was extremely proud of his grandchildren, especially his granddaughter who is graduating from Medical School.

He is survived by his children Jeff Mayse, Connie (Bill) Sponaugle, Sherrie Snell, and Amy (Jack) Avcin; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth D. Mayse.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Glenda May in 2011; his brother Larry Joe Mayse and his parents.
