Dorcas L. (Roberts) Carter, 84, passed away peacefully at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyr Hills, Florida, January 10, 2019.  She was born in Rocksdale, West Virginia, October 27, 1934 to Homer R. and Bithie A. (Carpenter) Roberts.

Dorcas was a homemaker.  She lived in Painesville until 2005.  At that time, she moved to Florida with her daughter, Debra.  She enjoyed reading, garage sales, playing the penny slots at the casino, and going out to eat with family and friends.  Dorcas had a great love of animals, especially her dog, Penny.

She is survived by her children, Debra Argo, James Carter, Kathi Bethel and Karen (Darrell) Domanovics; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott (Kristy), Crystal, April, Lisa, Ashley, Christopher and Bradley; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Thelma Adkins, June Armel, Randall (Hope) Roberts, Judy (Bill) Ogden, and Roger (Pam) Roberts.

Dorcas was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William H. Carter in 2005; her parents; brothers, Ivan Roberts, Oral Roberts and Homer Roberts Jr.; sisters, Izetta Vincent and Nina Parsons.

No memorial services will be held.
