Doriano Trifiletti, age 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 7, 2026, at his residence in Mentor. He was born on September 14, 1940, in Tuscany, to Giuseppe Trifiletti and Rosa (Torre) Trifiletti.
Doriano worked for many dedicated years at SAS Rubber Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.
Doriano enjoyed traveling to his beloved homeland of Italy, often taking bus tours throughout the country to visit family and friends. He loved spending time playing cards with his buddies, tending to his garden, listening to Andrea Bocelli’s music, and trying his luck at the casino. He especially loved gathering around the table with family to enjoy his wife Rita’s delicious home-cooked meals, which brought everyone together. Above all, he cherished time with his family and found immense joy in watching his children and grandchildren grow into the people they are today. To his grandchildren, he was their beloved “Nonno,” a title he carried with great pride and love. He will be remembered for his humor, generosity, unwavering work ethic, and deep devotion to his wife and family.
Doriano is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Rita (Scuderi) Trifiletti; his son, Adrian Trifiletti and fiancée, Deanna Saluan; his daughter, Roseanne (Randy) Podmore; his sister, Connie Bertolami (Nino); and his cherished grandchildren, Alex (Liz) Podmore, Arianna Podmore, Adrian “AJ” Trifiletti, and Kayla Trifiletti, as well as Sidonia, Natalia, and Adriana Freitas. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike Trifiletti, Salvatore Trifiletti, and Nunzio Trifiletti, as well as his parents.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
May he rest in eternal peace and be reunited with all those who went before him.
Forever in our hearts. We love you, Nonno.
