Doris Popely was born February 2, 1940 in Cleveland to Joseph and Ann (Toss) Baroni.  She passed away, September 16, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Doris was a member of St. Anthony's Parish.  She was a teacher's aide for Fairport Schools for many years, assisting at both elementary and high school levels.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting, traveling and church ministry. Most of all, she loved to help people.  She was always there when you needed her.  But most important to Doris was her family, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her children, Deanna (Bob) Law, Kathy Lorenczi, Tammy (Steve) England, Beth (Adam) Mackey, John (Beth) Popely and Joe (Denise) Popely; brother, Bob (Barb) Baroni; sister, Joanne (Bill) Arnold; sister-in-law, Anna Marie Popely; brother-in-law, Jim Popely; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Popely; sister, Eleanor Baroni, and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial for Doris A. Popely, 78, of Fairport Harbor, will be 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 523 Plum Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio.  Family and friends may call 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, September 21st at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.
