Doris Ruth Weaver, nee Braunlich, Johnston, was called to her Savior's waiting arms on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor, Ohio.  She was born August 6, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Clara (nee Uthoff) Johnston.

Doris was the secretary to the president of Reliance Electric for many years.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville and was active in the Lutheran Women Missionary League and the Zion Shut-In Ministry.  She had a beautiful Nativity set and loved to share it with everyone.  Doris's greatest joy was her faith and studying God's word.  She enjoyed her garden and making flower arrangements for the shut-ins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Braunlich in 1981, her second husband, William H. Weaver in 2011, her daughter in law, Pamela Braunlich; and her parents.

Doris is survived by her sons, Mark Braunlich and Martin (Suzanne) Braunlich; stepsons, Armand (Robin) Weaver, Mark (Robin) Weaver, William (Michelle) Weaver and Jeffrey (Belinda) Weaver.  She was a loving step grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a private service at the graveside for family only.
