Services for Dorothy Ticel age 84 of Painesville Township will be Friday at 11:00 am at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville Ohio family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home

Dorothy was born to the late Ross and Nellie (Zimmerman) Hamrick on December 28, 1930 in Marlington West Virginia and passed away November 17, 2015 at Heather Hill Care Center in Chardon surrounded by her family and the loving caring staff at Heather Hill Special Care Unit

Dorothy was employed by the former Lake County Memorial Hospital in Painesville for 17 years she began her employment in the cafeteria and went to night school to learn medical terminology and retired from the admitting department at the hospital. She was also employed by JC. Penney in the credit department and the former IRC Fibers in Painesville. She was active in 4 H the PTA and Girl Scouts, she was an instructor in quilting at the Mentor Senior center and JoAnn Fabrics for several years. A Loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent a lot of time quilting and herb gardening. She loved spending "Tea Time" Time with her friends. She is a 25 year breast cancer survivor Survivors:
