Graveside Services for Edith Marie Cahill, age 88, will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville.

The daughter of David and Christine (Alhstrom) Bixler was born on October 16, 1927 in Painesville. Edith passed away on Dec. 18, 2015 at Lake Med Rehabilitation Center in Painesville Twp.

Mrs. Cahill worked in the Blades Department at the T.R.W. in Euclid

A graduate of Thomas W. Harvey High School, Edith enjoyed fishing, gambling, and traveling. survived by, Children, Dennis (Cindy) Cahill of Painesville Howard Cahill of Willoughby Charles (Carol) Cahill of Mentor Headlands Grandchildren, Amy Allen, Dana Di Bartolomeo, Brian Cahill, Jessy Cahill, and Sarah Cahill 5 Great Grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Preceded in death by, Husband, Kenneth Cahill in 1966 Siblings, Twin Sister, Edna Mae Goodfield on May 6, 2015, Bernice Manley, Marion Reynolds, Alma Dill, Mason, Elias, and Charles Bixler
