Edward Paul Steinke Jr., age 64, passed away November 21, 2021, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township. He was born March 7, 1957, in Youngstown to Edward P. Sr. and Antoinette J. (Fabian) Steinke.

Edward grew up in Boardman, Ohio outside of Youngstown.  He was an electrical engineer working for Rockwell Automation for 45 years as a program manager.  He was a member of Leroy Community Chapel and the Lake County Gideons.

Ed loved spending time with his family, singing to glorify the Lord in his beautiful bass voice, playing guitar, yearly Florida trips, downhill skiing, and snowmobiling.

Ed is survived by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Gail Steinke; son, Edward (Wanessa) Steinke III of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Felix Steinke; daughter Christine (Ryan) Hashier of Kirtland; grandson, Milan Hashier; granddaughter, Finley Hashier; daughter, Jessica (Kenneth) Swiger of Madison on the Lake; granddaughter, Koraline Swiger; mother, Antoinette Steinke of Lexington, KY; Sisters, Barb (Bob) Oakley of Kentucky and Carol (Bill) Walker of Florida; nieces, Leigh Ann Oakley and Staci (Colby) Morris; great nephews, Nash and Emery Morris; nephew, Bobby Oakley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Steinke, Sr. in 2018.
