VENDELY, Erma age 96 of Painesville, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Lake Med Care and Rehabilitation, Painesville. She was born September 16, 1921 in Painesville, OH, the daughter of Daniel and Emeranci (Meszaros) Balla. She was a long-time member of St. Mary Church in Painesville. Survived by her daughter Elizabeth Vendely of Sherman Oaks, CA, son Don (Ann) of Dayton, OH, two grandsons Michael (Alison) of Lebanon, OH and Christopher (Maggie) of Centerville, OH, two great grandsons Maxwell and Lucas Vendely, as well as other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Julius Vendely, sisters Sue (Lefelholcz), Rose (Cinke), Mary (Sallay), Margaret (Agardi), Irma (Nelson) and Viola (Merchak). The family would like to thank the staff at Lake Med for the wonderful care they gave to our mother over the past several years. We never had to worry. And to Crossroads Hospice for their assistance during the final weeks. Mom loved all of you. A funeral service will begin on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at noon at SPEAR-MULQUEENY FUNERAL HOME, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Burial will occur immediately after the service at Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
