Etta Mae LaRue, age 91, passed away June 29, 2022, at her residence in Painesville.  She was born March 3, 1931, in Paintsville, Kentucky to Milton H. and Mary (Hall) Arthur.

Etta worked for I R C Fibers for many years and Lake East Hospital.

She enjoyed crocheting.

Etta is survived by her daughters, Garnetta Dragon and Patricia (Donald) Merritt; grandchildren, Sandra (Nick) Walker, Michelle (Chris) Barnum, Brian (Jackie) Gillespie, Dave (Nicole) Gillespie,  Carrie Kopinsky and Greg Merritt; great grandchildren, Codey (Madison) Plants,  Derek Walker, C J Barnum, Ayden Gillespie, Hannah Gillespie, Rian Gillespie, and Zach Kopinsky; sisters, Maxine Leetch, Joanne Clark, Elizabeth Inman, and Edith (Dan) Mullins; brothers, Lester (Joyce) Arthur and Melvin (Pauline) Arthur.  She was also a very special aunt to Greg Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph LaRue in 2020; daughter, Kay Gillespie; sisters, Evolene Davis and Marie Mollette; brothers, Denver Arthur and Milton Arthur Jr. and her parents.

Friends will be received 3:00-6:00 PM. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6th at Riverside Cemetery, 385 Riverside Drive, Painesville.
