Eugene F. Anderson, age 94, died at TriPoint Medical Center on May 12, 2016.

Born in Kirtland, Ohio on January 26, 1922, the son of Harvey and Eleanor (Schroder) Anderson.

He spent his childhood on a farm on Little Mountain Rd. in Mentor. He attended school in Mentor.

Served in the Naval Air Force during World War II, two years with Fleet Air Wings four in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska

He was a Concord resident for 50 years. Retired from Coe Manufacturing after 38 years.

Survived by his wife of 71 years, Enid (Luhta) Anderson, daughter, Sally Brown of Concord, granddaughters, Kelli (Joe) Fliter and Megan Brown, great granddaughter, Carlie Fliter

Preceded in death by daughter Karen Caruso, brothers, Robert and Edwin who was a Marine killed in World War II.

Memorial Service will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville, where friends will be received from Noon to time of services . Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery Painesville where the U.S. Navy will render military honors.
