Frances J. Mitchell, 88, passed away January 7, 2018 at Lake West Medical Center.  She was born July 8, 1928 in Cleveland to Frank and Stella (Stanko) Margraff.

No calling hours or services will be observed.

Frances was employed by Bobbie Gee's for many years. She also worked at Lord's Dress Shop in Painesville.  She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Milton Mitchell; daughter, Susan Wilson; son-in-law, Bob Bates; grandchildren, Jodi Knazek and Joelle Conley; great grandchildren, David Cline, Taylor Cline, Aiden King; great-great grandchild, Natalie Samford; and many sisters and brothers.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Anthony Edward Smith; son, Anthony Edward Smith Jr. and daughter, Sandy Bates; granddaughter, Kellee Cline.
