Funeral services for Francis R. "Tarzan" Hennessey, age 73, will be 1:00 pm Saturday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 10:00 am until time of services Saturday

A Lake County resident since 1951, Mr. Hennessey was born on July 8, 1941 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. He passed away on October 22, 2014 at his residence with his loving family at his side.

Francis retired as a Truck Driver for Osborne Concrete and Stone in Mentor

His hobbies included race cars at Painesville, Lake Erie, and Lorain Speedways He was a Captain for Charter Fishing Die Hard Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR Racing Fan Survived by, Daughters, Marsha Goldy Patricia Williams Michelle Cambier Norene (Donnie) Atwell Susan Caranci Amber Hennessey 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Brother, Johnny (Janet) Hennessey Preceded in death by, Parents, James and Marie (Keeney) Hennessey Brothers, Donald, Melvin, Denver Sisters, Lilian Staley, Jean Lentz, and Ruby Johnson Interment will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Francis's memory may be made to the family.
