The family and friends of Frank Franciotti are deeply saddened to report his passing on Monday, February 8th, 2016 in Houston Texas. Frank was born on the 4th of July, 1930 to Frank and Filipina Franciotti, the only brother to five wonderful sisters. After graduating from Harvey High School in 1948, Frank enlisted in the Ohio National Guard and was called up to active duty during the Korean War. Upon his return from war, he married his sweetheart, Julane Davisson, in a union that lasted until her death in March 2014. Frank and Julane had three children, built a home in Painesville, and were active members of Hope Ridge UMC until he was transferred to Houston, TX in 1976 with Diamond Shamrock. There, they made a new home in Clear Lake, the NASA area of Houston, and were active members in Clear Lake UMC. In 1992, Frank retired in 1992 after 41 years of service to Diamond and successor companies. Through the years, Frank enjoyed wood-working, his dogs, deer hunting, being a busy grandpa, and traveling with his family to Europe and around the country on road trips. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julane, parents, sisters Rose, Antoinette, Marie, and infant daughter Susan. He is survived by his son, Kevin (Rene), daughter Kristen (Jimmy), grandkids Brooks and Sarah Franciotti, sisters Dolly Parsons and Joann Scott, sister-in-law Judy Young, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday February 20, 2016 at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor ave. Painesville, Ohio 44077. Family and friends may call from 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery Painesville
