Frank J. Takacs, age 63, passed away September 19, 2021, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born, January 9, 1958, in Austria to Gus and Ethel (Kertsz) Takacs.

Frank worked for Kennemetal, Inc. for over 20 years, retiring in 2021.  He was a member of Grand River Baptist Church in Painesville.   Frank loved all sports and he also enjoyed buying, selling and trading items on the internet.

Frank is survived by his sons, Eric Takacs and Andrew Takacs; father, Gus Takacs; sister, Nikki Goff; and his four grandchildren, Austin, Colin, Alexis and Adam.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel (Kertsz) Takacs and brother, Steve Takacs.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received from 2:00-3:00 PM before the service, at the funeral home.
