Funeral services for Fred Kenneth (Kenny) Dille. Age 59, will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville with Fr. Gregory Heath officiating. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.

A Painesville resident, Kenny was born on February 28, 1957 in Painesville. He passed away on September 23, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp.

He was a Past Commander and Chaplain of American Legion Post 336 in Painesville and loved to fish and golf with his son Joseph and cousin Michael Iovine.

Fred served in the US Army and worked in the maintenance dept. of USA Management.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Judd) Dille, whom he married on May 22, 1982; son, Joseph (Allyson Folk) Dille of Painesville; daughter, Patricia Dille of Perry; Step-daughter, Christina Moore of Geneva; grandchildren, Connor Dille, R.J. Dille, and Elizabeth Folk. His father, George (Jeanne) Dille of Novelty; Sisters, Freda Kay (Bob) Hatala of Painesville; Michelle (Paul) Caviston of Galloway, OH; brother, Matt Dille of Novelty; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Butts; brothers-in-law, Joe (Lisa) Judd; John Judd; Dan (Jennifer) Snyder; Ken Snyder; and sister-in-law Karen (Mark) Collodel also survive. Kenny also leaves a special niece "Bethie" (Eddie) Babulski as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean (Knight) Dille and his father-in-law, Wilson Judd.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
