Funeral Services for Garnet E. Simons, 90, will be 6:00 PM, Monday, February 18, 2019 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Friends will be received, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, before the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 19th at Perry Cemetery, 5140 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, OH.

Garnet was born January 19, 1929 in Empire, Ohio to John and Clara (Crow) Dalrymple.  She passed away February 14, 2019 in Euclid.

Garnet was a resident of Willowick.  She worked for Ericson Manufacturing for many years, retiring in 1993.   She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Karl (Sharon) Simons; grandsons, Jared Simons, Dan (Jennifer) Hood, David Simons; granddaughter, Michelle Sherman; brothers, Harry (Elsie) Dalrymple, Martin (Wanda) Dalrymple; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Garnet was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Carl Simons; her infant daughter, Myrna L. Simons; daughter, Lorna Sherman; granddaughter, Kari Elizabeth Simons; her parents; and brother, John Dalrymple.
