Mattie Geneva Truesdell, age 94, passed away on Nov. 21, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Kirtland.

A Mentor resident, Geneva was born on March 21, 1920 in Fairmont, West Virginia.

She had lived from 1969 to 2004 in Venice, Florida where she worked as the Zoning Inspector and Business Licensure Inspector for the City of Venice. Geneva received her pilot's license when she was 17 yrs. old and she enjoyed raising race horses. She also raced horses at Northfield Park and in the Tri-State area. Geneva was a lover of all animals and in her later years, she enjoyed spending time on her farm living her dream.

She is survived by,

Daughter, Glenda (Bill) Hodgson of Mentor

Son, Bill Truesdell of Madison

Daughter, Lela Seiders of Port Charlotte, Florida

6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren

Brother, Leonard Bean of Niles, OH

Nieces and Nephews also survive
