Barrish
March 9, 1961 – March 15, 2016
George "Lee" Barrish, age 55, passed away March 15, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic with family by his side. He was born March 9, 1961 in Painesville, and was a lifelong resident of Perry.
Lee was a jack of all trades having worked in construction, at the Perry IGA, as an independent music reviewer, and finally working the last 28 years at the Lake County Dept. of Job and Family Services.

He also loved music and had a vast knowledge about artists, careers and songs. He enjoyed finding new musical talent and watching their popularity and talent grow. Lee was an exceptional chef and baker and had a great sense of humor. He was also witty, creative, talented, generous, kind, helpful and loving and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Barrish, brothers John (Irina) and Keith (Wilma) Barrish, girlfriend Carol Vargo, niece Mary Barrish and nephew Jeremy (April) Barrish and great-niece Mariann Barrish and great-nephews Jacen Barrish and Hayden Barrish. He also leaves behind his kitty, Gretchen Cheyanne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, and brother, Christopher.
