George is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Pierce; his children, George A. Pierce Jr. and Bonnie Pierce (Randy); his brothers, Michael Pierce (Kim) and LeRoy Pierce (Debbie); his sister-in-law, Joyce Bedor; and his close friend and honorary daughter, Tammy DeMaderios

He also leaves behind a cherished legacy through his grandchildren: Grace (Jasper), Belle (Christion), Hunter, Jaxson, Karlan (Tony), Jessica, Austin, Zack, Paige, Destiny, Cassy, and Jaymz. He was further blessed with great-grandchildren Amara, Penny, and Atlas, who brought him so much great joy.

George had a truly special relationship with his niece and nephews and the love that he carried for them is endless. Alisha (Jason), Matt (Katie), Thomas, John Michael, and Luke. George couldn't have loved you more if you were his own children.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence J. Pierce and Cornelia Harris Pierce, and by his brothers, Clarence J. Pierce Jr. and Mark Pierce.

He will be remembered for his strength, determination, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him. Though illness challenged him in his later years, the bonds he forged with family and friends remained strong and enduring.

As rain fell and the sun began to set on the evening of his passing, beautiful rainbows appeared in the sky a comforting reminder to those who loved him that peace follows even the darkest storms.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of George’s life. Following the funeral service, a meal will be served for all family and friends at the Golfway Pines Community Center in Painesville Township.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered love, support, prayers, and kindness during George’s final journey.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Forever loved, forever missed, forever remembered.
