Funeral Services for Georgia Darlene "Sam" Horton will be 2:00 PM, Friday, April 14th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Rev. Gerald Kalb will officiate.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.  Family and friends will be received 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Horton was born June 2, 1945 in Painesville to Lynn and Katherine (Meek) Leslie and passed away April 11, 2017 at Homestead II in Painesville.

She lived in Chardon before moving to Painesville twenty years ago.  Georgia was employed by Kimco Distributing and Tompko Manufacturing as a machine operator for several years.  She enjoyed bowling and loved to collect "tigers" and "hearts".

Georgia is survived by her brother Harry "Butch" Leslie of Chardon; sister, Evelyn Soke of Painesville; nieces and nephews, Erin Hughell, Frank Soke, Dawn Ross, Brian Ross, all of Painesville, Joe Ross of Ashtabula and Bill Ross of Florida; many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Horton, her parents and sister, Linn Ruth Ross.
