Georgina Jeschelnig, age 83, a Fairport Harbor resident, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016 at the West Medical Center in Willoughby. The daughter of Walter E. and Edna (Stewart) Sanders was born on June 8, 1933 in Akron.

Georgina retired as a cook for the Cleveland Society for the Blind at Lubrizol Corp. in Euclid and Painesville.

She is survived by her children, Duane E. Jeschelnig, Mary M. Marciante, and Dana E. Jeschelnig;  6 grandchildren and great grandchildren; Georgina was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Jeschelnig; her parents; and sister, Ada M. Tucker-Lightle.

At Mrs. Jeschelnig's request there will be no calling hours or services observed.

Georgina, a two time breast cancer survivor, requested that contributions in her memory be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Northeast Ohio, 2610 Emery Road, Suite 307, Cleveland, OH 44128
