Gerald F. "Gerry" Lynch, age 56, passed away October 3, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.   He was born January 14, 1965, in Cleveland to Thomas Edward and Ethel Mary (Ford) Lynch.

Gerald served in the United States Army.  He was a lieutenant with the Painesville Police Department and worked from 1992 until 2016, when he retired.   He was also a court officer for Eastlake and Mentor.   He loved smoking cigars, going to craft breweries, and riding his motorcycle.   Gerald was a member of the American Legion Riders and the Moose Lodge.  He also coached softball for his girls.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teri-Jo "TJ" Lynch; daughters, Courtney Anne Lynch, Kayla Irene Lynch and Shannon Mary Lynch; brothers, Robert John(Patricia Ann) Lynch; sister, Patricia Anne Lynch; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Myles Lynch, and his parents.

Funeral Services for Gerald will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM before the service.
