Services for Gerald J. White, age 78, will be Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 4:00 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 2-4 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Gerald was the son of Gerald Delmar & Mary (Judy) White, born on May 20, 1944, in Okonoko West Virginia.   He passed away October 21, 2022, at the West Virginia University Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, West Virginia, with his wife Yvonne by his side.

He was employed by the Lubrizol Corporation for many years retiring in 1999 and then retired to Mt. Storm, West Virginia.   He served in the US Army from 1961-1964

He enjoyed fishing in West Virginia, Ohio, and Canada. He also enjoyed hunting in West Virginia and Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Ebbert) White, they would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on January 23, 2023; sons, Doug (Karriann) White, Dan White; grandchildren, Delaney, Briley, Sophia, Isabella (Doug), Jerry, Tori and Mikey (Dan); great grandchildren, Iris, Memphis and Conner; sister, Georgia (Jack) Copeland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harold and Kenneth and his sister, Shirley.
