Gloria Mae Simmons, age 87, passed away peacefully December 20, 2021. She was born January 6, 1934, in Painesville to William and Elizabeth (Dodge) Lohr.

Gloria worked as a Clerk at the Lake County License Bureau for thirty + years.  She enjoyed bowling, puzzles, quilting, painting, and many other arts and crafts.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Cindi Smith (Randy Burns); grandchildren, Dylan (Becka) Smith, Apryl (Joseph) Palmer and Jeremiah "J.D." Reed; great grandchildren, Lizzy Smith and Casen Palmer; brother, Tim Lohr; sister, Jane Burt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer L. Simmons in 2009; brother, Roger Lohr; sisters, Janet Harkins and Stella Walters; and her parents.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28th at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.   Funeral Services for Gloria will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday December 29, 2021, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
