Grace L. DeGraff, age 92, of Painesville, passed away at her residence February 24, 2023. She was born September 14, 1930 in Painesville to Albert and May (Palecek) Manley.
Grace worked as a dietician for Lake East Hospital for many years. She was a graduate of Champion High School and was very involved with the Salvation Army. She drove the van for the Salvation Army Community Center, was a member of the Ladies Home League, League of Mercy and was a Girl Guard Leader. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Family and friends will be received 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Salvation Army Community Center, 69 Pearl Street, Painesville, Ohio. 6
Grace is survived by her sons, Don Hirter; daughters, Tammy DeGraff and Becky (John) Cumberledge; daughter-in-law, Patricia (Stuber) Hirter; grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Cumberledge.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald B. Hirter; second husband, Carl DeGraff; son, William Hirter; siblings, Mable E, Hemming, Helen M. Saunders, Viola I. Storey, Evelyn Farrell, Bertha G. Abrams, Dorothy R. Sinkovich, William H. Manley, Edgar Manley Sr., Robert H. Manley, and Albert Jim Manley.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the family.
