Private Graveside Services for Grace M. Palugyay, age 97, were held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland on May 12, 2017.

Mrs. Palugyay was born February 29, 1920 in Conneaut, Ohio.  She passed away May 10, 2017 ,with her family by her side ,at the Shelby Nursing Center in Utica, Michigan.

Grace is survived by her sons, David (Linda) Palugyay and Paul (Kate) Palugyay; brother, Fred Collar; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Palugyay and her parents, George and Tilda (Trompari) Collar,a brother George (Shirley) and a sister Mary.  She was a loving, kind woman with a strong Finnish determination to enable her to live 97 years. Her family is grateful for her long life and for all of the love she gave to her family.
