Services for Gregory S. Carter age 31 a Lake County Resident since 1998 will be Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Gregory was born on April 29, 1986 in Kenton Ohio and passed away September 24, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland.

Lake Health employed him for the past 5 years, He was a very active Advisor in 4 H in the dog training program, enjoyed watching soccer and football, playing cards, listening to music and being outdoors.  He attained the rank of Eagle Scout and belonged to the Order of the Arrows. From a very young age Greg became a giver whether volunteering or just in day to day life.  His heart was huge for doing what was right for and to others.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (step father, Mark Faulhammer) Carter-Faulhammer;  brother, Garrett (Kelsey) Carter; sister Jessica Carter; step brothers, Chris and Brian Faulhammer.

He also leaves his longtime significant other Samantha Barfield and a special sister Paige.  Nine nieces and nephews.

Gregory was proceeded in death by his favorite Grandma, Emelie Garlick

He will be so sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched.  In life, he was a giver and so in death he felt he wanted to continue to give to others by donating whatever could be, to Life Banc.
