A Memorial Mass for Gregory A. Wayner, age 64, a lifetime Painesville resident, will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Family and friends will be received 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.

Mr. Wayner was born June 27, 1952 in Painesville and passed away February 6, 2017 at his residence.

Gregory was a graduate of Harvey High School, Class of 1970.  He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.   He was also a member of the Carpenter's Union, Local 435.  Gregory enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, travelling, fantasy football and playing poker.

He is survived by his sister, Dianne Lemieux of Mentor; brother, Kenneth Wayner; nephew, Jim Lemieux; nieces, Melanie Lemieux, Erica Wayner and Jessica Wayner; great-nephew, Terrell Lemieux and great-great nephew, Trison Lemieux.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary (Kuhn) Wayner.
