Harold Leon Cassell, age 78, passed away May 14, 2021 in Mentor.  He was born April 2, 1943 in Cass, West Virginia to John B. and Olive (Ray) Cassell.

Harold was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.  He worked for W. S. Industries, Geneva Rubber Company and he was also a night watchman for Great Lakes Nursery for many years.   He was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Harold is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia (Flynn) Cassell; son, Johnathan (Judy) Cassell; grandchildren, Keli (Jeff) Whetzel and Heidi ( Ryan Zack) Cassell; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Cara Vitale; sister, Lois Cassell; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Cassell.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Cassell; his parents; brothers, Curtis (Philomena) Cassell, John W. (Lou) Cassell and Keith E. (Debbie) Cassell.

Funeral Services for Harold will be 1:00 PM Wednesday May 19, 2021 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Friends will be received from 12-1:00 at the funeral home.   Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
