Howard James Ivary, age 79, passed away at Homestead II nursing home on October 24th, 2022. He was born in Painesville, Ohio November 13th, 1942, to Ruth (Sivula) and Matt Ivary.

Howard grew up in Fairport Harbor, Ohio and graduated from Fairport Harding High School in 1960. He graduated Magna Cum Lauda in 1966 from Dyke College in Cleveland, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business. For 55 years he worked as a senior systems computer analyst.

His family is grateful for all the loving and compassionate care provided by all the staff at Homestead II, and Hospice of the Western Reserve. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Howard's memory may be made to either of these wonderful facilities.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved daughter, Kimberly (Kendall) Randolph after a 10-year battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy (Francisco) Ivary; sons, Matthew Ivary and Chris (Cyndi) Ivary; brother, Ken Ivary, and sister, Joyce Butenhoff of California; Grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, and Alex Ivary.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am Monday, October 31. 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N State St., Painesville, OH.
