Obituary

Funeral Services for Jackson "Paul" Leonard Sr. will be 1:00 PM, Friday, March 2nd at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Family and friends may call 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 1st at the funeral home.

Paul was born December 7, 1928 in Wheeling, West Virginia and passed away February 25, 2018 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was employed by Lubrizol and retired in 1991.  He also worked at the former Rayon – IRC Fibers.

He enjoyed sports, listening to music, classic cars and going to the car show on the Square in Painesville.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family who were most important to him.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Lavada (Wallace) Brainard; sons, J. P. (Andrea) Leonard Jr. and Eric Leonard; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Frank Leonard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel M. (Miller) Leonard in 2013; parents, John and Flossie (Searles) Leonard; and eleven brothers and sisters.
