James H. Kroll, age 89, passed away April 15, 2026, in Richmond Heights, Ohio.  He was born September 15, 1936, in Frostburg, Maryland to John Edward Kroll and Frances (Filer) Kroll, and moved to Ohio when he was 19.

James served in the United States Army.  He worked for Avery Dennison for over 41 years. James enjoyed working on old clocks and cars and attending car cruises.   He owned many trophy cars over the years and had a soft spot for the 1932 Ford Coupe.  He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club and the Early Ford V-8 Club.

James is survived by his daughter, Karin (Joe) Gardner of Euclid, and his sister, Naomi Martha Ravenscroft.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian (Roe) Kroll in 2025, his brother, John E. Kroll, sisters, Earlene L. Cordial and Nancy Houdershelt and his parents.

Friends will be received 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday, April 24, 2026, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will immediately follow.  Burial will be at Perry Cemetery.
