Obituary

James H. Replogle, age 82, passed away December 20, 2024, in Middlefield, Ohio.   He was born February 28, 1942, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Harry Replogle and Catherine (Faint) Replogle.

James was very proud to have served in the United States Air Force in Panama and Nashville, TN, where he met his wife, Betty.  He was a talented mechanic and worked for Sears Automotive for many years.

Jim was a devoted family man who dedicated his life to providing a good home for his wife and children. While his work ethic was strong and he enjoyed the thrill of the open road, he never missed a chance to support his children's passions. He coached his son's sports teams, attended his daughter's horse shows, and never missed a family dinner. Jim instilled in his children the values of hard work and the importance of being a good neighbor. He was a friend to many in his community and was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

James is survived by his wife, Betty (Underwood) Replogle; sons, Tim (Michelle) Replogle and Jim Replogle; daughter, April (Keith) Schroeder; grandchildren, Isabel, Kelsey, Kacey, Rudy, and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brigett McGuire, and grandchild, Katie. The family finds solace in the belief that they are now reunited. He was also preceded by his sisters, Nancy Replogle and Mary Jo Yeary, and his parents.

Private services were held.

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Sub Zero Mission, 1760 North Ridge Road, Painesville, OH. 44077 or to Wounded Warrior, 600 River Avenue, Ste 900, Pittsburgh, PA. 15212
