James Harold Szekely went on to Glory……He was much loved by all and will be dearly missed for his shenanigans.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tresia Carson Szekely; daughter, Christine Szekely Broadway, (Bobby, Jr. - Natasha and Nichole); sons, James Ryan Szekely (Trina - Amber, Nicholas, and Alec); William Martin Szekely (Donna – Brandi and Emily); Donald Craig Szekely (Lisa – Craig, Will and Mica) all of North Carolina; and daughter, Crystal Ann Szekely (Steve) of Painesville, OH.  Also surviving, brothers and sisters, Betty Szekely French, Marilyn Szekely Haffa (Bob), Martin Daniel Szekely, Frank Jerry Szekely Sr., Robert Lee Szekely (Regina) and David Lee Szekely (Janet), all of Ohio; 9 great-grandchildren, countless nieces and nephews.

James was born on February 13, 1944, in Painesville, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his father, Martin Szekely and mother, Julia Moritz Szekely; brothers and sisters, John Szekely, Jennie Szekely Jones, Pearl Szekely Smith, Goldie Szekely Brainard, William Michael Szekely, Charles John Szekely and Ronald Allen Szekely.

Family and friends will be received from 12:00-1:00 PM, Friday, August 13, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM.
