Obituary

Jane Margaret Flenner, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at Reserve Care in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born March 14, 1955, in Cleveland to Albert Zehe Sr. and Laverne (Bohn) Zehe.

Jane was always someone who could light up a room with her presence. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—being with family and friends, walking through the beautiful Metro Parks of Northeast Ohio or along the coast of Southwest Florida. She loved exercising, traveling, and baking, a talent she inherited from her mother. She also adored her four energetic boxer dogs.

Jane attended Notre Dame Academy in Chardon, Ohio, for high school and later graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in Business Administration. She worked at the Cleveland Clinic and, for most of her years in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, at Novation LLC in Irving, Texas, where she was recognized for her contributions as a member of The President’s Club.

Jane is survived by her husband Robert Flenner; siblings,Kevin (Toni) Zehe, Chris (Jeff) Capretto, Mary (Jack) Lord, Judy (Robert) Adamich, Albert Zehe Jr. (Laura Griff), Elizabeth (Robert) Sakal, and Eileen Zehe. Sister-in-law to Richard and Linda Flenner and Linda Forsythe; and Aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will be received 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Perry Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reserve Care, P. O. Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192 or to one of Jane’s favorite charities, St Jude.
