Janet Helen Rigby, age 80, passed away June 14, 2021, in Madison.  She was born December 14, 1940, in Wendel, West Virginia to Daniel and Helen (Caplinger) McCoy.

Janet was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fairport.  She worked at the Fisher Foods Grocery Store and was owner of Ohio Surf and Skate where she enjoyed meeting everyone.  She was a member of the Leroy Garden Club.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Andrea) Rigby, Richard (Del Rae) Rigby and Timothy (Deborah) Rigby; daughters Barbara Rigby and Susan (Edward) Gordon; brothers, Don and Bob (Karen) McCoy; and her ten grandchildren; John Rigby, Rachael Rigby, Paul (Nilsa) Phillips, Brandy Rigby, Trisha (Richard) Green, Laura Rigby, Daniel Rigby, Tegan Rigby, Ian Rigby and Joseph Rigby.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; brother, Ken McCoy; and sister, Caroline Sue McCoy.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday June 22, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 10:00 AM.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery Painesville
