Graveside Services for Janet (Nelson) Ulvila, age 97, of Painesville will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 22, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, East Street, Fairport Harbor, OH.

Janet was born September 10, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to Robert and Doris (Frederick) Nelson. She passed away March 16, 2021 at Grand River Health and Rehab in Painesville.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, traveling and church activities.  She loved collecting giraffes, such as pictures and figurines.

Janet is survived by her son, Gerald Folk and wife, Lee of Deer Park, TX;  grandchildren, Renee, Todd, Kirk, Alyson and Katie; and best friend, Monika Voss Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John T. Ulvila; sons, John E. Folk Jr. and Robert M. Folk; a brother and two sisters.
