Funeral services for Janice Emily Reece, age 60, of Mentor, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14th at True Vine Ministries, 7501 Mentor Avenue #4, Mentor, OH.  Rev. Paul McCoy will officiate.  Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.

Janice was born September 7, 1954 in Cleveland and passed away January 9, 2017 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.

Janice grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison High School.  She had her minister's license and loved to preach for God.   She also loved playing her guitar.  She married David L. Swick in 1979.

She is survived by her daughter, Heidie A. Swick of Painesville; son, David L. Swick, Jr. of Mentor; sister, Charlotte (Carlos) Sturgill of Hartsgrove; brothers, Raymond (Brenda) Reece of Trumbull Co.  and Donald (Candy) Reece of Wachula, FL.; grandchildren, Mathew, Jewel and Timothy White.

Janice was preceded in death by her brother Richard Reece Jr. and her parents, Richard B. and Emily (Reinhardt) Reece.
