Obituary

Jason Thomas Haffa, the cherished son of Thomas M. Haffa and Francie Nighman; step-son of Patty Haffa and David Nighman, was born on Dec 23, 1987 and passed away on April 1, 2015 in California.

Survived by: Parents and Step-Parents; Sister, Jessica Haffa (resides in Saline, Michigan); and Step-Brother, Sam Nighman (resides in Cambridge, Mass.)

Preceeded in death by paternal grandparents, Ken and Eleanor Haffa; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Jenks.

Jason was a 2006 Graduate of Riverside High School. Most recently, he worked as a Resident Assistant at Spencer Recovery in Palm Springs, California. Jason was a gentle soul with a huge heart; a loyal friend and son; he loved animals, especially dogs. Jason was a natural athlete. As a child, he was passionate about baseball and was selected to play on the All Star Team all four years. As he grew older, basketball and golf became his focus. Jason so enjoyed playing golf each summer with his family and friends whenever possible. Jason was an avid sports fan, particularly when it came to the Browns, Buckeyes, and Cavaliers. During this past year, he concentrated on physical fitness and earned his Personal Training Certificate. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all those whose lives he touched throughout his challenging life journey.
