Jeffrey Thomas Coon, age 57 of Painesville, passed away on December 27, 2017. Jeff was born on December 7, 1960 to Ira "Sonny" and Bernice Coon.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Mabel Ryder and Ira and Selma Coon, as well as his sister, Jennifer Habian.  He was survived by his daughter, Alexis Coon; son, Nicholas Coon; grandson, Aiden; mother, Bernice Coon; brother, Bradley Coon; and sister, Claudia Winfield, in addition to several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeff had a true passion for cars, starting from the time he was a young boy.  He previously owned and ran "Jeff Coon's Reconditioning," a business in which he restored and detailed vehicles.  Jeff spent the majority of his time in the garage, making repairs to various cars and trucks, both for work and for pleasure.  Anytime a friend or family member had a question about their vehicle, they always knew to call on Jeff for his expertise.  Jeff will be dearly missed by all.

There will be no calling hours at this time.  A celebration for friends and family will be set for a future date.
