Jeffrey Brian Smith, age 60, passed away September 28, 2021, at his residence in Painesville Township.  He was born December 15, 1960, in Phoenix, Arizona to Russell Lewis Smith and Patricia (Holt) Mercsak.

Jeffrey was a maintenance technician and worked for the 3-M Corp. and Versitec.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and he enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, and working on cars.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Jeffrey Smith of Painesville; daughter, Crystel (David) Smith of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Laila Smith and Tatum Smith; brother, Russell Smith of Wickliffe; nieces, Nicole Smith and Tara Summer; nephew, Rusty Smith; sister, Karen (Steve) Rodock of Naubinway, Michigan; former wife, Leanne Smith of Painesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
