A gathering for the family and friends of Jerry G. Flanagan, age 58, will be from 6-8 pm Friday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. A resident of Painesville, Jerry was born on July 14, 1957 in Painesville He passed away on November 14, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic
Jerry graduated from Eastlake North High School, class of 1976
Jerry will be remembered for his sense of humor, gentle spirit, and his love for animals. He was most proud of his military service in the US Army, Corps of Engineers as a demolition expert serving in Germany under General Haig.
Mr. Flanagan was a welder for Meyers Snowplow Co. in Cleveland for 29 yrs. He enjoyed motorcycling, skiing, and boating
Jerry is survived by, Wife, Carolyn (Helmandollar) Reed-Flanagan, whom he married on October 2, 2014 Daughter, Angela Carlton of Painesville Grandchildren, Gabriel and Abbey Carlton Julius Rose Step-Son, Jason Reed of Chardon Mother, Mildred (Banker) Felice of Eastlake Brothers, Chris (Becky) Sutton of Willoughby Charles (Lisa) Sutton of Dorset Sister, Kimberly Sutton of Mentor Dearest Friends, Tom and Lisa Norder of Willoughby Preceded in death by, 1st Wife, Jean (Lyttle) Flanagan Father, Floyd Flanagan At Mr. Flanagan's request there will be no services observed
