Joan Kathryn Davidson, age 82, passed away December 20, 2021, at her residence in Painesville.  She was born November 21, 1939, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Robert Earl and Kathryn Edith (Wilson) Brooks.

Joan was a Christian and loved Jesus with all her heart.  She was a cashier at Pick-n-Pay grocery store for many years.  Joan was an avid reader and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Ann Thompson and Pamela (Carl) Campbell; grandchildren, Dean (Maryann) Cleversy, Robert (Cassandra) Davidson II, Kyle Campbell and Breanna Campbell; great grandchildren, Trevor Cleversy, Devon Cleversy, Kali Mohar, Blake Steinmetz, Mikaela Querry, and Linkon Grover Davidson as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Dean Davidson in 2009; son, Robert Dean Davidson; brothers, Robert Edward Brooks and James Clifton Brooks; and her parents.

Friends will be received 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will immediately follow.   Friends and family will be welcome to Pam and Carl's home, after the service, at 1954 Woodruff Drive, Painesville, Ohio.  Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
