Mass of Christian Burial for Joanne (Long) Butcheck, age 75, of Painesville will be 9:30 AM Monday August 7, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St. Painesville.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville.

Joanne was born in Painesville, March 20, 1942 to Charles and Catherine (Preziuso) Long.  She passed away August 3, 2017 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.

Joanne worked for the Painesville City School System in Auxiliary Services at St. Mary School for many years.   She enjoyed antiquing with friends, and family dinners.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Burge , Erin -Leigh Butcheck, Shannon  Butcheck  and her son, Edwin M. Butcheck Jr.;  grandchildren  Willard Burge IV, Jeremy Christopher Butcheck, Cory Sharpnack, Emory Skurka- Butcheck,  and  great grandson Willard Burge V.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Butcheck, parents and her brother, Danny Long.
