John Philip Biesiada, age 62 of Mentor, passed away suddenly January 20, 2023, in Concord Township, Ohio.  He was born November 3, 1960, in Parma, Ohio to Louis and Dorothy (Martynowski) Biesiada.

John was a systems service technician that worked for PC Industrial Controls and Path Technologies.  He was an active member of Willoughby-Cleveland Elks Lodge 18 including significant time as a Trustee and member of the kitchen crew.

He enjoyed cooking, music, sporting events, and beer.  He had a huge heart and will be missed by a multitude of friends and family.

John is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary "Chick" Stander-Biesiada; his father, Louis; brother, Joseph (Bonnie) Biesiada of Parma Heights; sisters, Jeanne (Jeff) Kostiha of Florida and Judy (John) Leight of Florida; and 3 nephews.  His mother, Dorothy, preceded John in death.

Friends will be received, 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 26th at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  An Elks service will be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.  Friends and family are invited to join in the celebration of John's life with stories and socializing at Bumpers Bar and Grill, 7123 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8540 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, Ohio.  Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery after the Mass.  Luncheon will follow at the Elks Lodge 18, 38860 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby, OH.
