Obituary

John Christopher Bucks, age 49, passed away peacefully, at his home, on Memorial Day, with his wife of 16 years, Gail, by his side.

John was a mechanical engineer and worked for Perfection Corporation in Madison.  He was also the owner of Laguna Station in Mentor, a bait and tackle convenience store.

Johnny loved music, camping, canoeing and being with his friends.  He had so many, and they all shared his last days with him, right by his side. He loved to make people laugh.  He also had big dreams…always trying to invent new products. He loved his dogs Wilson, Sadie and Dotson.

He is survived by his wife, Gail (Porter) Bucks; mother, Monica (Kraynak) Bucks; sisters, Carolyn (Doug) Bucey and Marianne (Jerry) Reese. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Bucks.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 2nd, 7:00 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH.  Family and friends may call 4:00-7:00 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
