November 13, 1939 – October 17, 2022
John C. Fulmer, age 82, of Perry, OH, passed away October 17th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born November 13, 1939 and grew up in California, PA with parents Jacob and Hazel and sister Kay.
He was a lover of the outdoors and an active member of the Madhatter's canoe club. He loved to camp, hike, golf, and paddle. He often said that nature was his church. He loved his dog Woody, taking walks no matter the weather.
He served his community in many ways, including coaching sports, Mayor of
Perry Village, and president of the Kiwanis club.
John spent 34 years as a mathematics teacher at Mentor JR/SR High School. He showed his passion for helping others by being the neighborhood jack of all trades. His contagious optimism brightened everyone's day.
He is survived by his wife Jackie, his children; Cindy (Ron) Zauski, Shelley (Rob) Lundegard, Jenifer (Ryan) Sprague. Grandchildren; Dan (Nicole) and Ben Zauski, Stephen Lupton, Autumn Marasciula, Emily and Zachary Sprague.
