Funeral Services for John "Buck" Leskovac of Perry, Ohio will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Perry Cemetery.
He was born April 1, 1940, in Port Vue, Pennsylvania and lived in Perry, Ohio since 1963. Buck passed away February 13, 2022, at West Medical Center in Willoughby, OH.
Buck was a proud U. S. Army Veteran. He was Vice President of Kucera International and was employed there for over 50 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed harassing his Cleveland Brown friends throughout the football season. He loved to play the game of bocce and spending time with his friends. Buck also enjoyed traveling across the U. S. with his wife, Bonnie and he especially love the West. They enjoyed exploring old ghost towns and seeing the beauty and nature in the many national parks.
Buck was a member of V.F.W. Post 7754 in Fairport Harbor, the Hungarian Culture Club, American Legion Post 336 in Painesville, and Gunny's Hall in Mentor.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Leskovac, daughters, Traci (Joe) Coss and Shari (Bryan) Sprankle; stepson, Daniel McCoy; grandchildren, Emily and Hunter Sprankle and Madelyn Coss.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Leskovac; granddaughter, Hali Coss; parents, John and Anna (Kushner) Leskovac; sisters, Dorothy Grudovich and Louise Goerk.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave. Ste 900, Pittsburgh, PA. 15212.
